Account Manager

The minimum criteria for this role:

1.       A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Key/Senior Account Management in a B2B environment.

2.       Ability to develop long-term relationships with key decision makers.

3.       Ability to retain and grow revenue from key customer accounts.

4.       Influence high level decision makers to buy.

5.       Highly driven, competitive, and honest

 

Proven record of success in:

·         Consistently achieving account management goals, objectives, and targets

·         Establishing, strengthening, and deepening relationships with high-level decision makers.

·                   Gathering and analyzing information on key customer accounts to establish valuable insights that will grow the account.

·         Leading complex contract negotiations

·                    Leading collaborative engagements internally and externally to discover and execute on the best ideas to drive account growth.

·         Consistently retaining and growing key customer accounts over 3-5 years.

 

Knowledge, Abilities, Skills:

·         Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

·                   Minimum 5 years’ experience in Account Management in a B2B environment, preferably in contracted subscription services

·         Strong ability to develop long term mutually beneficial relationships.

·         Strong ability to think critically - Analyze data, extract insights, and identify opportunities.

·         Strong ability to maintain positive and successful working relationships with other internal departments.

·         Strong ability to drive collaboration amongst many internal and external stakeholders.

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Highly skilled at leading sales conversations with high-level decision makers.

·         Highly skilled at uncovering buyer needs, objectives and strategic priorities.

·         Highly skilled at creating strategies proactively to drive buyer priorities, agenda, and action – Create Demand!

·         Highly skilled at building an action-oriented plan to maximize account retention, growth, and success.

·         Highly skilled at preparing and delivering formal sales presentations.

·         Skilled at leading extensive contract negotiations.

·         Skilled at using business language in sales conversations - margins, pricing, mark-ups, cost of sales, CAPEX.

·         Skilled at compiling marketing strategies.

·         Skilled at maintaining a high level of productivity with solid time management skills.

·         Proficient skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
